Time to check in

Hi fellow psychofauna (i.e., you readers, your inner multitudes, and your associated egregores),

The next stage of the story gets real crazy: the major antagonists are revealed, the conflict finally takes off, and Deshawn & Astra are joined by our final major POV character. (You’ve only seen hints of them so far.)

Before we get there, I’ve realized I should write a few bridge chapters. It might take me a couple months. So now is a good time to check in with you all. Here are two possibilities for the interim period while I’m writing said chapters:

• Option A: Some of you have told me you could benefit from a hiatus so that you can catch up. So Option A would be a period where I only post "bonus content.” For instance: the Psychofauna playlists and image boards that I use for inspiration.

• Option B: Guess what – before this serialized novel, I wrote a whole other very long prequel that follows Astra. You learn why and how they created Psi. If you guys want, I could release chapters of that in the meantime.

• Option C: Maybe you have a different idea? Tell me below in the comments.

One reason I love writing in a serialized format is that the writer can be in ongoing conversation with readers. So I’d also love to hear from you: Who are your favorite characters?
